11/05/2016: Clubs Night
Come join us for Clubs Night after the fit test! The event will be held at Tequila Jack’s and is open to anyone! This is an amazing opportunity to get to know your workout buddies and future team mates outside of the gym, and a memorable bonding experience.
11/05/2016: Fitness Test
Our first fitness test of the season will be held on November 5th, please sign up at on the fitness test form
09/20/2016: Info Night
This years information night will be held on Tuesday September 20, 2016 and Thursday September 22, 2016 at William Doo auditorium (45 Wilcocks Street) from 6pm to 8pm. Come join us for more in depth information, chat with the vets, and most importantly, food will be provided!
09/17/2016: First Saturday Practice!
Our first Saturday Practice starts on the 17th from 10am-12pm! Please meet us at Wetmore Hall across the AC before heading to Queen’s Park. Please dress appropriately and bring lots of water and/or fluids to stay hydrated.
09/14/2016: Training Begins
Our training begins with training slots in the Athletic Center on Wednesday, September 14. Please meet with your trainers on the second floor of the Athletic Center (AC), in the room near the elevator. Be changed and ready to go right at the start of the session.
09/7/2016: Frosh Week!
Come visit us at the New Dragons table during frosh week if you need more information, or just want to meet some of us! We also have cookies!
05/29/2016: MILTON RESULTS
Both New College Yellow and Green had a great start to the competitive season. Green placed 1st in the CURL division, and 2nd in the A division and University Division. Yellow had impressive results as well, a huge feat from many first-time paddlers at their first regatta! We are excited to see what the rest of the season have in store for us. Look out for us at Pickering next weekend!
02/18/2016: 2016 ROSTER
Congratulations on everyone for the hard work these past few months – it’s been great meeting every single one of you and we hope you had a great time challenging yourselves with the New Dragons family. The 2016 competitive roster has been chosen, however we still highly encourage everyone to come out to join us for our weekday training sessions!
08/25/2015: PRACTICES BEGIN
Our first practice will be Saturday, September 26th at 10:30 AM. Meet at 10:15 AM at Wetmore Hall ready to go! We will most likely be holding practice outdoors at Queens Park. Also, our Fall training begins next week (Monday, September 28th), so be sure to check our the training schedule for times! Hope to see you all there.

08/19/2015: RECRUITMENT
New Dragons is now recruiting for the 2015-2016 season! We will be holding open tryouts for anyone and everyone beginning next week. We are one of the fastest university crews in Canada, hold tons of social events, and we’d love to meet you.
We’re having two informations nights next week:

Wednesday, September 23 @ 6-8 PM
Location: William Doo Auditorium, 45 Willcocks St.
Come on out, grab some friends, and come pay us a visit! You do NOT need any paddling experience to try-out. Hope to see you there!
07/04/2015: ISLAND & WELLAND RESULTS
New Dragons had a great weekend of racing at Toronto Island, with the team successfully defending the University Cup for another year. The team also placed 4th in the B Final, and NDRC Premier and New College girls brought home gold in both the 200m and 500m final in the Sport Women division!
The team finished the weekend off at Nationals with a silver in the University division and bronze in the U24 division. The NDRC premier and New College women placed second overall in the Premier Women category.
Best of luck to our athletes who will be competing at WORLDS representing Canada on August 19th, and those competing at the Pan American Club Crew Championships from August 14-16.
06/19/2015: TORONTO ISLAND
Come on out for a great weekend of racing this weekend at Toronto Island! Races start at 8 AM on Saturday with teams from Canada, USA, the Caribbean Islands, and Asia! More information (location, race schedule, etc.) can be found here!
06/10/2015: PICKERING RESULTS
For the first time in team history, New Dragons qualified for the A Mixed Division FINAL at Pickering this past weekend. The team also placed second overall in the University Division. Next up is Toronto Island Dragon Boat Festival, held on June 20 and 21st. More details to come!
06/3/2015: PICKERING REGATTA
New Dragons’ next regatta is this coming Saturday, June 6th in Pickering, Ontario. The park is located on the west shore of Frenchman’s Bay. There is no public parking at the site, however there will be a shuttle bus going back and forth from the park and Pickering Go Station! For more info click here!
05/24/2015: MILTON RESULTS
New Dragons had a solid first regatta, placing 2nd in the University A Division and 3rd in the Mixed Division. The team is already back on the water training for the Pickering Dragon Boat Festival which is only two weeks away!
