2005

The 2005 season saw the New Dragons put forth their most competitive effort to date. Perhaps even more impressive was that more than half of the roster members were either new to the team or new to the sport of dragon boat itself. Despite the odds, the 2005 edition of the New Dragons were able to significantly improve upon the achievements of previous years by placing higher than previous years in all festivals they competed in. Mixed in with an unmatched blend of team work, fun and discipline, the 2005 team was the fastest New Dragons boat to set a paddle in the water to date.
