New Dragons is a competitive dragon boat team affiliated with University of Toronto.
We are one of the fastest university teams in Canada and in the world. Just this year, we’ve won the title of Canadian National Club Champions in University and U24 divisions. We are also the current University Cup Champions at TIDBRF, and have held this title ten times.
As a team, we are comprised of students from various universities pursuing education at the undergraduate and graduate level. As a family, we help push each other through the struggles of training, school, work and anything else life throws at us. Our passion keeps us strong and our bond keeps us together.
New Dragons is looking for committed individuals to join us for the 2019-2020 season to compete in Club Crew World Championship in Aix-les-bains, France. We welcome both experienced and beginner paddlers alike regardless of background. With us, you can train with a diverse team of athletes throughout the season and you can always find a place in our family.
