2013 marked yet another phenomenal season for New Dragons! After being named the Greater Toronto Area’s Best Amateur Team by the Toronto Star, New did not disappoint at the Milton and Pickering Dragon Boat Festivals – claiming the University Cup title at both. To wrap up the season, New Dragons claimed the Under-23 and University titles at the 2013 Canadian Dragon Boat Championships on Victoria, BC. Our members on the NDRC Women’s and Open crews also picked up a Bronze medal in the Premier (i.e. no age restrictions) category. Keep your eyes out for us at the 2014 Dragon Boat Club Crew World Championships in Ravenna, Italy!
